Intinerary
Windhoek – Windhoek | 1 Night Nights
The Weinberg Windhoek – Windhoek, Namibia
Arrive in Windhoek and transfer to your hotel. Meet your specialist guides for a detailed briefing on the conservation focus of your journey.



Days 2–4 – Etosha Region | 2 Nights Nights
Etosha Mountain Lodge – Etosha Region, Namibia
Travel north to the Etosha region, where your safari begins with a focus on giraffe ecology within a broader wildlife context.
Guided game drives introduce giraffe identification techniques, behaviour patterns, and conservation monitoring approaches. Wildlife encounters include elephants, black rhinos, and plains game.



Days 4–7 – Hoanib Valley | 3 Nights Nights
Hoanib Valley Camp – Kaokoland (Hoanib Valley), Namibia
Travel into the remote Hoanib Valley, where the core conservation experience takes place.
Work alongside researchers from the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, participating in fieldwork such as tracking giraffes, behavioural observation, and data collection. When possible, assist with GPS satellite tagging.
Nature drives reveal desert-adapted elephants and the vast beauty of Namibia’s wilderness.



Days 7–9 – Skeleton Coast | 2 Nights Nights
Shipwreck Lodge – Skeleton Coast, Namibia
Travel to the Skeleton Coast, where desert landscapes meet the Atlantic Ocean.
Explore shipwrecks, visit seal colonies, and experience one of Africa’s most remote environments. Conservation insights continue as you learn about coastal ecosystems.
